MAINTENANCE & Restoration of a wood roof
Wood roofs need regular maintenance to ensure longevity. A cedar roof can last 30+ years if routinely maintained. Our process is to clean the roof of moss and debris by hand, no power washing which takes years off the roof. We then tighten any loose shingles and replace compromised shingles with our stock of aged shingles to prevent the ‘checkerboard’ finish. Our last step is to oil the roof, while taking extreme care of landscape and patios. We have been in business for 41 years, and are still working on roofs we’ve installed when we started.
